How I can help
Facilitation training
Building the confidence and skills to lead inclusive and effective meetings.
How training is delivered:
In-house training, tailored to your team or organisation.
Public course on Group Facilitation Methods.
Practical, hands-on sessions learning.
-
I offer facilitation training to build confidence and practical skills for leading group conversations. Whether you’re new to facilitation or looking to strengthen your practice, training can be tailored to your needs.
As an ICA:UK Lead Trainer, I am accredited to deliver the Technology of Participation (ToP)® Group Facilitation Methods. These methods are designed to help groups build shared understanding and make collective decisions. In this course, you’ll learn two methods: the Focused Conversation and the Consensus Workshop.
Training can be delivered in-house for your team or organisation, or through public courses, and can be tailored to your specific context and needs.
Collaboration
Supporting groups to align, make decisions, and move forward together.
Common challenges I work on include:
Struggling to turn discussion into clear next steps and action.
Low participation or engagement
Conflicting priorities or perspectives impede progress.
-
I support groups—whether teams, coalitions, or cross-organisational partnerships—to align, make decisions, and move forward with confidence.
Through facilitation, coordination, and clear processes, I help groups surface different perspectives, work through disagreements, and reach decisions that everyone can stand behind.
The result is stronger ownership, clearer direction, and action that lasts.
Advocacy support
Helping organisations strengthen their skills, strategy and confidence.
Common challenges I work on include:
Limited internal capacity or confidence to deliver advocacy.
Efforts feel fragmented, inconsistent, or reactive.
Teams struggle to translate strategy into clear, coordinated action.
-
I work with organisations to strengthen advocacy skills, sharpen strategy, and provide extra capacity where needed.
From internal planning to external campaigns, I help teams operate more strategically and effectively, ensuring efforts are coordinated, impactful, and aligned with their values.
I also bring expertise in charity regulation in England and Wales, as well as electoral law relevant to campaigning.

About me
I’m a facilitator, trainer and advocacy specialist who helps civil society organisations collaborate, influence, and push for change. Over the past 15 years I’ve worked with charities, membership bodies, and campaigning organisations across international development and social justice — from global advocacy on climate finance to UK campaigns on protest rights.
With a background in policy, advocacy, and convening, I’ve co-led a 350+ coalition, convened groups to defend the right to campaign, and supported organisations through difficult strategic challenges. I’m known for my warm, engaging style, inclusive approach, and strategic insight, alongside the ability to adapt when dynamics shift.
I’m a member of the International Association of Facilitators and an ICA:UK Lead Trainer. I draw on a range of approaches to help organisations reach the outcomes they want—while ensuring the process itself is inclusive, constructive, and meaningful.
